Our poor dog... she's really having a hard time adjusting to the new addition to our family. She goes through phases where she is afraid of him and wants nothing to do with him one week and then the total opposite the next week. She shows a lot of curiosity in the baby when company is over, too much interest for our liking. When it's just us, she wants nothing to do with him and won't even sit in the same room as us - except sometimes. She's not very consistent in her behavior. She is a special dog, practically special needs, so the typical ways that help dogs adjust to babies have not worked so far. I think that she will always have a sense of distrust of children, but hopefully she will find her way back into our world instead of hiding in the office all the time.
